F. F. F. F. Don’t forget another F. If there’s one thing Naruto couldn’t stand, was a stone cold F showing up on an assignment. Especially an F he felt he shouldn’t have got considering he put the effort in to study. He was really annoyed today. He was so annoyed that it got to the point where he punched a guy, square in the jaw, for laughing at his grade. Of course, he got in trouble, and of course, his parents would find out and give the poor fella more crap.
Naruto sighed, shuffling in his pockets, looking for a cigarette to relieve the stress. He really wanted the day to be done and over with, without dealing with all of the idiots surrounding his neighborhood and school. He wasn’t even planning going to any classes tomorrow; just stay home, read manga, and probably play a game or two. But he knew he wasn’t going to have that satisfaction.
What was he doing wrong, he wondered. Was he really this awful as a student? I mean, he did get held back once, but the unforeseen consequences — something that’s scarred him since he began this new year of school — were the primary source of that. But he wasn’t going to give up. All of his friends were up and out, living their lives and having fun in a university. He wanted to be that guy. He wasn’t going to have his dreams held back by some stupid hierarchy.
The thoughts rushing in his head made his teeth chatter. His home was almost a block or two away. What better way to end the day is to face the music from all of the idiots.
